All About Biodiesel

Origins

Biodiesel is produced using plant oils, animal fats or recycled cooking oils. We collect waste vegetable oil from local restaurants and turn waste material into ASTM-D6751 grade biodiesel. It produces a more pleasant odour, compared to the smell of french fries.

Cleaner

Compared to fossil diesel, biodiesel gives off
47% less carbon monoxide,
48% reduced particulates,
67% less hydrocarbons,
60-90% less air toxins,
100% less sulphates.

Safer

Biodiesel is completely nontoxic and biodegrades rapidly. This results in spillages or leakages being far less of a risk to both people and the environment. Biodiesel is classified as non-flammable by the NFPA, meaning safer storage and handling.
